Doha Institute Announces Admission For Academic Year 2024-2025

Doha, Qatar: The Doha Institute for graduate Studies announced the commencement of online applications for the master's and Ph.D. programs for the academic year 2024-2025 starting from Sept. 1 until Jan. 15, 2024.

In a statement, the institute outlined that eight programs would be offered for the track of Ph.D. studies, including Development economics, public administration, political science and international relations, Arabic linguistics and lexicography, history, sociology, media studies, and critical security studies.

The master programs that are poised to be offered include 19 programs at the College of Humanities & Social Sciences, mainly in philosophy, history, sociology and anthropology, political science and international relations, journalism, media studies, Arabic linguistics and lexicography, comparative literature, conflict management, and humanitarian action, critical security studies, human rights, social work, as well as psychology in both its clinical and social tracks.

In addition, the School of Economics, Administration, and Public Policy offers a master's program in public administration, public policy, and development economics, an executive master's in public administration, and a dual executive master's in business administration and public administration.

The institute offers a variety of scholarships such as the Tamim Scholarship, which is based on merit and academic excellence and is primarily dedicated to the most distinguished students, along with the Sanad Scholarship, which is based on the financial needs of students and is dedicated to all students.

In mid-August, the institute received the ninth cohort of new students enrolled in the academic year 2023-2024, whose number reached 317 students from both genders coming from many Arab and foreign countries who have fulfilled all the admission requirements.

The new students are distributed as 300 students from both genders in masters programs and ten students in PhD studies, in addition to seven students in the Doha fellowship programme in Arabic language.
