Enemy Attacks Nikopol District With Heavy Artillery

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On the night of August 5, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region's Nikopol district with heavy artillery.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak on telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The enemy continues causing terror against the Nikopol district. Last night the district was struck three times. The aggressor fired dozens of heavy artillery shells,” Lysak wrote.

Russian projectiles targeted the city of Nikopol and the Marhanets community. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The details are yet to be updated.

A reminder that ukraine's defense forces continue the offensive operation in the melitopol and berdiansk directions , gaining a foothold within the re-captured frontiers, and carrying out counterbattery measures.
