Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Near Al-Khalil


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, April 1 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a Palestinian man on Saturday, near Al-khalil (Hebron) city, in the south of the occupied West Bank, by Israeli occupation forces' fire.
The ministry said in a press statement that the martyr, Muhammad Baradiyah, 23 years, was killed after the occupation soldiers shot him near Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil.
Baradiyah is the second Palestinian killed by Israeli forces in less than 24 hours.
Muhammad al-Osaibi, in his twenties, from the village of Hura in the Negev, was martyred at dawn today after the occupation army shot him on Friday evening in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses stated that one of the occupation soldiers shot Al-Osaibi when he tried to prevent an attack on a Palestinian girl near Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Higher Follow-up Committee for the Arab Masses announced in a statement planning a general strike in the occupied territories in 1948 on Sunday in response to the killing of Al-Osaibi. (end)
