Microsoft Corporation on Tuesday announced a new tool named“Security Copilot” to help cybersecurity specialists find breaches, spot threat signals, and conduct thorough data analysis.

The tool uses the latest GPT-4 generative artificial intelligence model from OpenAI to provide a prompt box with a comprehensive range of features to assist security analysts with a variety of tasks, including incident summarization, vulnerability analysis, and information sharing with a co-worker via a pin board, the Reuters News Agency reported.

The prompt box's user-friendly and effective design gives cybersecurity professionals a streamlined workflow that makes it easier to find and address security concerns.

The assistant will employ the company's security-specific model, updated continuously with more than 65 trillion daily signals, leading to an expanding collection of security-specific skills.

Microsoft has been working diligently to incorporate AI into its most well-known businesses, outperforming its competitors with multibillion-dollar investments in OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT.

With the recent release of GPT-4, OpenAI has shown that it can perform various tasks, including building websites from hand-drawn mockups and assisting people with tax calculations.

In January, Microsoft Corporation announced the third phase of its long-term partnership with OpenAI through a multiyear, multibillion-dollar investment to accelerate the development of AI and ensure that its advantages are widely available to the world.
