(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. The US is committed
to peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Vedant Patel, US
State Department Deputy Spokesman, said at a briefing.
“We will continue to assist in the discussions between Armenia
and Azerbaijan both in a bilateral format and with partners, as
well as within the framework of multilateral organizations,” Patel
said.
He recalled that, the day before, US Assistant Secretary of
State Karen Donfried had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani
Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
