Border Guards Repel Two Enemy Attacks In Donetsk Region

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian border guards repelled two enemy attacks and eliminated 20 invaders in Donetsk region.

"The invaders attempted to attack the Ukrainian defenders with waves of infantry. In a shooting battle, the border guards repelled the assault. In another sector of the front in Donetsk region, the enemy attacked a stronghold of our fighters,” the State Border Guard Service wrote on Facebook.

The invaders were repelled with mortars and small arms. Following the attacks, the enemy retreated with losses - 12 Russian soldiers were killed and eight more were wounded.

As earlier reported, the State Border Guard Service has not yet recorded enemy strike groups on the border with Belarus.
