Namrouqa Reviews Modernisation Project With Irish Justice Minister


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Minister of State for Legal Affairs Nancy Namrouqa on Tuesday met with the Minister of State at the Irish Department of Justice, James Browne, and stressed the 'deep-rooted' friendship and high level of cooperation between Jordan and Ireland.

During the meeting, Namrouqa reviewed Jordan's efforts as part of the comprehensive modernisation project and amendments to laws related to political, economic and administrative modernisation programmes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

She also reviewed efforts related to empowering women, youth and persons with disabilities, discussing recent amendments to relevant laws, ultimately helping to support those groups and enhance their role in society. Browne praised the Kingdom's efforts in updating laws and moving forward in the comprehensive modernisation process, expressing interest in cooperating and exchanging expertise.
