Amman, Feb. 8 (Petra)--The Public Security Directorate (PSD) warned citizens of the very cold weather that will lead, during the late night hours, to potential frost formation in mountainous areas and portions of the Badia region, as well as fog formation and clouds at low altitudes.
The PSD urged the public to exercise caution, since rain and snowfall are expected to taper off, which may prompt some people to go out by vehicles or on foot, especially to areas that have witnessed snowfall or into them.
The PSD also called for exercising caution while driving, due to slippery roads, or low visibility due to fog.
It also called on the public to ensure the safe use of heaters and to ventilate residences occasionally.
