Qom district witnesses 28 percent increase in shipments YoY


(MENAFN) The worth of shipment from Qom district, saw an increase of 28 percent in the opening nine of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21- December 21, 2022), in comparison with the same span of time in the last year, as shown by a provincial official.

Akbar Ebdali Mohammadi, the chief of the province’s Industry, Mining and Trade Department, recorded the value of nine-month shipment from the district at USD263 million.

The representative also mentioned that the shipment from the district increased 63 percent in terms of mass on a yearly basis.

As earlier declared by Mojtaba Farhadi, the chief of Foreign Trade Office of the province’s Industry, Mining and Trade Department, shipment from Qom district increased by 92 percent in the last Iranian calendar year 1400 (closed on March 20, 2022).

The official stated that goods valued at USD283 million were shipped from the district in the last year.
