Russian Army Shells Border Areas Of Sumy Region With Mortars


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On Sunday, January 8, the Russian army launched another attack on the border areas of Sumy region.

This was reported by the Operational Command North on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

From 11:30 to 11:50 in the area of Kucherivka settlement, there were reports of 12 hits, presumably from a 120 mm mortar.

According to the command, there are no losses among military personnel and equipment. No information was received about civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russians shelled the Znob-Novhorodske community, Sumy region, with a self-propelled artillery system last night. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out on the territory of a local enterprise. People were not injured.
