(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, November 14, 2022, SPA – The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has received the global excellence award in project management for the best technological project category, where the ministry's Naama Platform was chosen as the best technological projects for 2022.
The ministry realized this achievement after meeting all the technical and technological criteria of the award, which was overseen and evaluated by international and local arbitrators, where the Ministry was declared the winner of the PMO Summit, held in Riyadh, which was organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI KSA Chapter).
This achievement is in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the ministry's digital transformation strategy through unifying digital platforms and the promotion of utilization of modern and emerging technologies with the aim of enhancing the quality of services, improving digital experience and supporting decision-making via providing qualitative and comprehensive data.
Naama Platform provides more than 260 diversified e-services, including agricultural licensing services, import, export and survey services, livestock services, as well as financial support services, environment and water services, and land services.
Naama Platform is easy to provide services to beneficiaries through operating on all devices and smartphones, using the best modern technologies, and providing a unified interface and access to all electronic services of the system of the ministry, unifying the digital identity of all the system's platforms and applications, applying the best global standards and practices in e-government, as well as facilitating and expediting the development and launch of services, building complementarities with relevant institutions, as well as promoting the principle of community e-participation.
