Palestine appeals to international community to put end to Israeli criminal crimes, settlement aggression

(MENAFN) The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has called on the international community to take responsibility and put an end to the Israeli regime's illegal crimes, as well as settlers' continuing acts of vandalism and violence known as price tag assaults across the occupied territories.

“These crimes are an integral part of the bloody and systematic Israeli escalation against our people with the aim of breaking their resilience and adherence to their just and legitimate national rights and land,” the ministry stated in an announcement launched on Monday.

The announcement asserted that the Tel Aviv regime is making attempts “to force our people to surrender, coexist with occupation and [illegal] settlements, and accept them as a fait accompli that is difficult to change.”

It identified coordinated attacks by armed settlers on Palestinian citizens and their land and property as acts of Israeli military forces, emphasizing that they represent Israel's official denial of Palestinians' reasonable and lawful rights, which have been formally approved by the UN.

The Palestinian foreign ministry then blamed the Israeli government for the rising tensions in the occupied territories, warning that the current scenario threatens to explode, sending the whole Middle East area into a spiral of violence.
