Iran, Kazakhstan ink MOU to grow cooperation in agriculture, trade

(MENAFN) Iran and Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the growth of collaboration in the agriculture as well as exchange sectors on top of industries, logistics, transportation plus technology transfer in Tehran on Wednesday.
The MOU was inked by Javad Sadati-Nejad, the Iranian agriculture minister, as well as Zhumangarin Serik, the deputy premier and minister of trade and integration of Kazakhstan, who took a trip to Tehran along with a Kazakh representative.
As mentioned in a report, the attempt of the two nations with the aim of surging the worth of two sided exchange to around one billion dollars, according to the deal of the leaders of the two nations, is studied in the MOU.
In this MOU, there was also a deal on the building of a mutual exchanging firm for agricultural outputs and the forcing of mutual agricultural ventures, and also holding associated exhibitions by Kazakh firms in Tehran in the opening month of the upcoming Iranian calendar year (opens on March 21, 2023), according with the trip of the premier of Kazakhstan to Tehran.
