(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, September 28, 2022, SPA -- Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi received at his residence, during his private visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Defense.
The Minister of Defense conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, and the Prime Minister, to the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen and the members of the Council, and their wishes of security, stability and peace to the Republic of Yemen and its people. In turn, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen extended his greetings to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they reviewed the efforts aiming at achieving security, stability and peace in Yemen, and discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and the efforts exerted towards them. They also reviewed the humanitarian and development relief works provided to the brotherly Yemeni people.
The Minister of Defense affirmed the support of the coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, and its support for the positive initiatives of the Council with the international community to bring security, peace and stability to Yemen, and to end the Yemeni crisis in order to reach a comprehensive political solution that will move Yemen to peace and development.
The Minister of Defense noted the deep brotherly ties that bind the governments and peoples of the two countries.
