Joshua Perez, more popularly known as“FazeFunk” is a Latino podcaster, producer, filmmaker, content creator, and influencer.
Joshua Perez a.k.a.“FazeFunk” cut his teeth as a professional director of photography and producer in Brooklyn, NYC. He set out on a mission to sharpen his talents and showcase his eclectic skill set. With a myriad of accolades under his belt, FazeFunk quickly rose to the upper echelons and was privy to the company of the world's most popular artists, musicians, and podcasters.
As the producer and director of photography for the Rap Radar podcast, FazeFunk took part in creating what is now a show featuring 80 episodes. His keen eyes and artistic sensibilities paired with vast experience in the world of photography helped Rap Radar become one of the most followed podcasts in the genre.
FazeFunk has cemented his reputation as one of the top NYC photography directors after producing Tidal's Car Test episode with the infamous Lil Wayne. The episode was launched on YouTube on the 11th of February 2020, and in a little over two years, it amassed nearly 1,5 million views and tens of thousands of reactions from fans across all compass points.
In this episode, the infamous American rapper rode through Miami in a Mercedes Benz G63 while showcasing his album“Funeral” which was launched mere weeks before the event. FazeFunk was leading the production and photography, ensuring the cameras capture the most gorgeous locations the Benz is passing through while also showing Lil Wayne in the best light possible.
FazeFunk's another crowning career achievement was fulfilling the role of the Director of Photography when called to orchestrate sessions for the first season of Unnatural Selection . Judging by the immensely positive feedback from the audience, who had awarded the show a score of 86/100 points, FazeFunk's work was a massive success. Given the complex nature of this documentary, many professional photographers would shudder at the notion of capturing scenes as delicate as gene-splicing, but not FazeFunk. His professionalism and experience allowed him to be composed and direct the bulk of Unnatural Selection's photographic content with relative ease.
When he is not producing or directing headline-worthy videos and photo sessions, FazeFunk is co-hosting the“Feeling Exposed” podcast on Apple Podcasts. As an experienced podcaster with a healthy sense of humor, FazeFunk has entertained thousands of his listeners.
The Feeling Exposed podcast started with an episode called“Well This is Awkward”. The humorous nature of this podcast was eventually disrupted with the sixth episode“Black Lives Matter”, the tenth episode called“What Father's Day Means to Me”, and many others.
Thanks to FazeFunk's diverse professions and the abundance of experience he accumulated through professional work, Feeling Exposed grew rapidly. It currently has 67 episodes, most of which are at least an hour long.
