Gov't Approves System Of Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award For Voluntary Service

Amman, May 18 (Petra) - The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service 2022 system
Under the system, an award will be created at the Ministry of Youth to honor outstanding volunteers, bearing the name of HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
The award aims to consolidate and organize the culture of volunteering in the Jordanian society by encouraging citizens to do volunteer work and directing energies of young people towards it.
It also aims to activate corporate social responsibility, honor individuals and corporates based on distinguished volunteering and have a positive impact on the sustainable development process, encourage people with ideas in the field of volunteering, and put their ideas into action.
In Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, the government approved a system amending the building and regulation system in Amman for 2022.
The system will allow the provision of daily local services within residential areas, with the aim of facilitating the service of residents of neighborhoods, by granting profession licenses in those neighborhoods.
