Stepp Stewart's Motown Motor City Revue Mother's Day Weekend -- Dynamite Productions


(MENAFN- PRLog) -- Theater in the Atlanta area is a buzz with the announcement of the Stepp Stewart's 2022 Theatrical season at Porter Sanford III Performing Arts Center in Decatur. The theatre reopen will mark the rise from the restraints of the pandemic, which left the Theatre closed for two years. Just in time for Mother's Day, Stepp Stewart's Motown Motor City Revue will bring the beat back May 5th - 8th 2022. The Motown revue was a box office hit pre Covid-19 and returns by popular demand with exciting changes. The musical revue will feature local talent that include: LaMonte Williams, Kristiana Cox, Jamie Moreen, Anthony Dorsey, and 12-year-old Deele Barker as Michael Jackson. Stewart, creator of the show, will once again direct and choreograph the high energy production. His 2022 line-up will also include the musicals: ONE NIGHT AT THE DISCO, SWEET CHARITY (with the first all-black cast) and A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS.
The Motown revue runs approximately 1 hour and 50 mins with a 15 min intermission. It features Motown hits like: 'STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE,' 'CAN'T GET NEXT TO YOU,' 'LOVE CHILD', 'I'LL BE THERE,' 'SUPERSTITION,' 'JUST MY IMAGINATION,' 'I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE' and more. The songs will be performed in the style of your favorite Motown artist like: Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, and The Miracles, The Marvelettes, The Jackson 5, Gladys Knight and The Pips, The Temptations and more.
