Abu Dhabi green hydrogen plants deal in Egyptian lands


(MENAFN) Masdar and Hassan Allam Services, a renewable energy firm in Abu Dhabi, have made the deal with Egyptian certified corporations in order to grow more of plants manufactured with the help of using green hydrogen in the Suez Canal Economic Zone and the Mediterranean seaside.

Masdar stated the firms’ goal is to create production entity of a green hydrogen by which it can manufacture 100,00 tonnes of e-methanol, a liquid fuel, every year for its supply by cargo ships in the Canal, will be the first action to be taken. Putting in notice, this goal is predicted to be functional within 4 years.

The electrolyser utilities, where they produce hydrogen through electrolysis, found in both the Suez Canal and on the Mediterranean seaside can be increased by 4 gigawatts within 8 years to manufacture 2.3 million tonnes of both; green ammonia traded globally as well as green hydrogen for national trades.
