18 Students Qualified to Represent Saudi Arabia in Formula 1 at Schools in UK


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Dhahran, April 3, 2022, SPA – King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) today announced that 18 students of various public and private schools have qualified to represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the international formula 1 competition that will be held in the United Kingdom as of Thi Al-Hijjah 11, 1443 Hijri with the participation of 54 countries.
Ithra said that the participation went through an intensified training program according to the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics program (STEM), in addition to several workshops, which included reviewing the models and car designs that simulate formula 1 at schools, which took place at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran.
