(MENAFN) On Friday, an EU executive stated that talks on Iran’s nuclear pact are “on right track” and one last agreement will be finalized very soon.

A top EU executive said “we are on the right track for a final agreement,” regarding the talks in the Austrian capital Vienna to attract the United States and Iran again to the 2015 nuclear agreement.

The executive highlighted that a “good solution” of the issue might be endangered by the slow speed of the talks. The executive added, “Still, I think we will have an agreement (…) sooner than later.”

In the past week, Josep Borrell who is EU’s foreign policy chief further noted he aimed “to be able to inform the public about the final decision within weeks.”
