Dhaka : First Security Islami Bank Ltd got the top spot among 34 banks selected by Dhaka WASA for collecting the highest bill in the financial year 2020-2021. This is the third consecutive year FSIBL achieved the first position in collecting Dhaka WASA bill.
To celebrate the occasion, a programme titled Dhaka WASA Bill Collection Award was held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in the capital on January 9.
Md Tazul Islam, Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives attended the event as the chief guest.
The chief guest handed over the award certificate and crest to Syed Waseque Md Ali, Managing Director of FSIBL.
Helal Uddin Ahmed, Senior Secretary, Local Government Division; Prof Shibly Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Chairman, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission; and Dr Engr Gholam Mostofa, Chairman, Dhaka WASA Board were also present on the occasion as special guests.
The programme was presided over by Engr Taqsem A Khan, Mana-ging Director, Dhaka WASA.
