Qatar - Ministry of Justice holds introductory meeting for lawyer trainees

Doha: The legal and Judicial Studies Centre at the Ministry of Justice organised an introductory meeting for members of the 12th training course for lawyer trainees for 2022, which started yesterday.

A total of 22 lawyer trainees will benefit from the activities and programmes of the training course, which will include two training semester, during each the trainees will receive skills and practical applications that support the theoretical lectures.

In her speech at the introductory meeting, Head of Studies and Research Department at the Centre Haya Fahad Al Buainain stressed the importance of the training course, which provides an opportunity for lawyer trainees to pursue their professional career in support of the legal and judicial system in the country.

She noted that the Centre, with the support of Minister of Justice H E Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri, took all administrative and logistical measures to ensure the implementation of the course in a manner that achieves the desired goals from all theoretical and practical aspects.

Al Buainian added that the training course comes within the framework of the legal and judicial training programme implemented by the Centre for the year 2022, and the Ministry of Justices endeavour to implement Qatar National Vision 2030 by preparing a qualified Qatari legal cadre, and contribute to strengthening the national development process in this important sector.

In light of the review of all the general, specialised and preparatory training programs at the Centre, which was directed by the Minister of Justice, the Centre developed training programs and selected various training topics related to the modern Qatari legislation, she added.
