Wildberries cut the cost of international shipping to 30%
(MENAFN- Wildberries) The large international online retailer Wildberries updated the system of rates for order delivery logistics for customers from foreign countries, thanks to which the shipping costs have decreased significantly.
The most significant decrease, by 30%, was in the cost of shipping orders from Russia to Germany, and by 20% to Spain and Italy. Delivery to Israel, France, the United States, and the Baltic countries became 10% cheaper.
“We are constantly improving the efficiency of internal processes and working to offer customers the most attractive delivery terms. In December we made our rates more transparent and flexible. Thanks to this, customers from other countries can buy Christmas gifts from Russia on even more attractive terms”, - told in Wildberries press-office
In January-November 2021, the sales of Russian entrepreneurs through Wildberries in other countries increased by 44% to 29 billion rubles. The top 10 most popular Russian-made goods included books, T-shirts, creams, dresses, shampoos, linens, board games, bags, cosmetic scrubs and textbooks.
In 2021 the company entered the markets of 11 new countries: USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. At the moment the geography of the online retailer covers 19 countries.
