Qatar - DPS MIS debaters win acclaim

Nine debaters of DPS Modern Indian School won acclaim in the Qatar Preparatory Schools Debate League I (QPSDL I) conducted by Qatar Debate last month via Zoom platform. The tournament was marked as the biggest preparatory school debate league as 68 debate teams with more than 200 debaters from 35 established institutions participated in it. Team Anushka Alurkar, Disha Patel, Jonah Kirupakaran were sixth, followed by Team Vyusti Singh, Ishita Gholash, Gargee Kanade in the 18th and Team Abhinaya Kannan, Aamina Abedi Tanisha Paul in the 20th position.
In the individual category, Jonah Kirupakaran was fourth, Disha Patel 40th, Abhinaya Kannan 55th, and Ishita Gholash, Gargee Kanade, Vyusti Singh, Anushka Alurkar 70th, and Tanisha Paul and Aamina Abedi in the 89th positions.
The participants were accompanied by their mentors Sandhya Gopalakrishnan and Jaya Majumder.
