Previous Armenian politician: New chance waits for Turkey, Armenia


(MENAFN) A new change in relations was opened amid Yerevan and Ankara, even with Turkish maintenance to Azerbaijan in the Karabakh War that finished in November last year, in line with a previous Armenian politician.

Styopa Safaryan, a member of center-right group Heritage, informed Anadolu Agency that Armenian Premier Nikol Pashinyan struggling with challenges at his house and wanted to take steps to restore mutual ties with Turkey following the latest fight amid Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Safaryan added "Pashinyan is trying to show that there is a positive signal from Turkey so that a common agenda can be formed. He is making these statements understanding very well the sentiment on the ground [...]."

He also affirmed that the most sensitive subject in the normalization plan is the Zangezur corridor that intends to bond Turkey, Nakhchivan, and Azerbaijan.
