Ukraine ships apples to 65 nations in Jan-Sep 2021


(MENAFN) Ukraine shipped over 10,000 tons of apples to 65 nations during the first 9 months of this year.

According to the Government portal, Vladyslava Mahaletska, the head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, stated: “Work on opening new markets requires constant and systematic efforts of many government agencies and businesses. This is one of the important areas of our work," at the ‘Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2021’ summit.

Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, Moldova, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Oman, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Greece, Kuwait, Turkey, and Mauritania have been the top export destinations for Ukrainian apples in 2020-2021.

According to Ukrinform, the European Commission finalized an inspection of authoritative monitoring to the manufacturing and licensing of milk and dairy goods from Ukraine for the shipment to the EU in October.
