(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Zarqa, Nov. 23 (Petra) -- President of Zarqa University (ZU), Nidal Al Ramahi, on Tuesday received second secretary and charge d'affaires of the culture department at the Embassy of Oman in Jordan, Khamis bin Ali Al Sunaidi.
Al Ramahi briefed Al Sunaidi on majors of interest to Omani students wishing to enroll at the university.
In the meeting, attended by ZU top officials, Al Ramahi and Al Sunaidi discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation, especially in the field of scientific research, teaching and community service.
He said ZU seeks to provide the necessary facilities for Omani students studying at the university.
It also seeks to resolve any issues that Omani students may face during their study, expressing his pride in the academic level of Omani students, Al Ramahi added.
For his part, Al Sunaidi thanked Zarqa University represented by the university president and faculty members for taking care of Omani students and facilitating procedures for their admission, expressing his pride in the relationship between the two countries in various fields.
