Qatar slams bomb attack on journalist in Mogadishu
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that took place in the Somalia capital, Mogadishu, killing a journalist and injuring another.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons. The ministry emphasised its rejection of targeting journalists, media professionals and freedom of opinion. The ministry expressed the condolences of Qatar to the victims' families, and to the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
