Nur-Sultan, Oct. 17, 2021, SPA -- Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation arrived in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, on an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, at an invitation of the Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ashimbayev Maulen Sagathanuly.
Upon arrival at Nur-Sultan Airport, the Speaker of the Shura Council was received by Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Abdirov Nurlan Mazhitovich; Senator Makezhanov Sultanbek Almasbekovich; Deputy Governor of Nur-Sultan Uralov Askhat Razdykovich; Saudi Ambassador to Kazakhstan Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Dawood and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Berik Aryn.
For his part, the Saudi Ambassador to Kazakhstan said that the visit of the Speaker of the Shura Council to Kazakhstan for meetings with senior officials are important, pointing out that relations between the two countries are witnessing a remarkable development in light of the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries.
Ambassador Al-Dawood added that the Shura Council and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan have distinguished relations, stressing that mutual visits between the two countries at the level of high-ranking officials are important to enhance cooperation and joint coordination, and support modern investment and economic trends.
