Karzai strongly condemns Kunduz suicide bombing

KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the suicide bombing that occurred at a mosque in capital of northern Kunduz city.

On Friday afternoon, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a huge gathering of worshipers during the Friday-Prayer. Over 50 people were reported killed and more than 90 others were wounded.   

Former President called the“terrorist attack in contrast with all-types of human and Islamic values.”

He indicated the recent attacks that have happened in Eid-Gah mosque of capital Kabul and in a seminary in Khost province as an evil act of the Afghanistan enemies.

He offered his condolences to the victims' families and wished paradise for the martyrs.
