Jordan, Syria to boost collaboration in several fields, recommence flights


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Sep. 28 a declaration at the end of the Jordanian-Syrian ministerial assembly conducted in Amman for two days Jordan and Syria made a decision to boost collaboration in several industries.

The discussions tackled the state of the Jordanian-Syrian Transport Company and the ways to find answers to deal with its issues. Talks also went over ways to ease the flow of commodities and passengers' movement.

Ministers on the two sides stressed the significance of reaching a strategy to enhance the economic collaboration between the two countries, and dealing with any challenges confronting commercial exchange and transport.

Both sides also requested to boost partnerships in the energy, water and agricultural areas. They concurred on exchanging lists of priority goods to bolster commercial exchange and went over executive measures needed to reopen the Jordanian-Syrian Free Zone.
