Criminal measures started after assault on Ukrainian presidential adviser's vehicle


(MENAFN) On the morning of Wednesday, Sep. 22 criminal measures have been established after a car transporting president Zelensky’s first adviser, Serhiy Shefir, was gunshot in Kyiv region, Ukrainian Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova has posted on Facebook.

She posted that "the crime scene investigation team is working. Proceedings have been launched over the attempted murder of two or more persons (Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Other details and comments will be available later after the first-priority investigative actions are made and the situation is assessed."

Around ten shots were fired up at the car from a 7.62mm rifle, Venediktova said. The injured driver was taken to the hospital.
