EU commissioner arrives in Ukraine to discuss European Green Deal
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) EU Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and the Fisheries Virginijus Sinkevicius has arrived in Ukraine to discuss the country's "green transition."
Sinkevicius wrote about this on Twitter , according to Ukrinform.
"The EU Green Deal comes to Kyiv today! I am in Ukraine to discuss how we can work together for our environment and the country's green transition!" he wrote.
Sinkevicius said he was looking forward to all important exchanges coming up today and tomorrow.
The European Commission in May 2021 adopted a detailed action plan within the European Green Deal, which sets specific objectives and deadlines for reducing environmental pollution, with the ultimate goal of making Europe climate neutral in 2050.
