Brazil: Plane crash leaves at least 7 dead in Sao Paulo


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Sep. 14 the local fire department stated that over seven persons lost their lives when an executive plane collapsed in a rural area of Brazil’s municipality of Piracicaba, in southeastern Sao Paulo state.

A report by the Sao Paulo state fire department released on social media read that the losses comprised of the pilot, co-pilot and five passengers, all members of the very family.

The plane had left the regional airport of Piracicaba, found 164 km from the city of Sao Paulo.

The Globo News channel said that the crash took place in a wooded locale beside the Sao Paulo State Faculty of Technology, resulting in a fire.
