NU-Q museum investigates media's power of convincing


(MENAFN) It is an exhibition for interaction that takes place at The Media Majlis at Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q) observing the power of convincing and how the media employs convincing methods.

“Unraveling Persuasion” examines the arts and sciences of convincing by exploring its omnipresence in different areas of daily life in addition to the history of the language and psychology of convincing communication, from early-days television in the UK to modern media in the Middle East.

The exhibition presents three virtual installations to assist guests in comprehending how promotion and various types of media like posters, social media, body language, speech, and sloganeering, facilitate the subjection of persons and communities to political and social pressure.
