Mali cancels restrictions on ex-Malian transitional president, his PM

(MENAFN) The Local Committee for Monitoring the Transition in Mali (CLST) hailed the transitional administration's conclusion to cancel restrictions on ex-Malian transitional president Bah N'Daw and his Premier Moctar Ouane.

It also hailed the actions taken by the administration to guarantee them the benefit of the rights connected with their status as ex-head of state and ex-Prime Minister, according to a report issued on Friday.

For the CLST, this move is a "positive development" which is in the course of the commitments done by the transitional authorities.

It called on all the sides aiming to demonstrate a spirit of responsibility and attachment to the nationwide interest, to demonstrate respect for the law, and also to avoid any action that could affect the proper conduct of the transition.
