(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has expressed his condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Vice President Fuat Oktay and the people of Turkey due to massive forest fires in the country.
According to Ukrinform, Shmyhal announced this on Twitter .
"Uttering sincere condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Vice President Fuat Oktay & Turkish people in connection with massive forest fires in the south of the country," Shmyhal wrote.
He added that today two firefighting aircraft of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine would fly to Turkey to help AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) firefighters.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on July 29 that Ukraine would provide all the necessary assistance to Turkey in connection with large-scale wildfires.
Forest fires broke out in Turkey on July 28 near the town of Manavgat in the Antalya Province and spread to the provinces of Osmaniye, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Adana, Mersin and Mugla.
