(MENAFN) Tesla has seen increasing proceeds, in spite of shortages of semiconductor chips and blocking at ports impeding manufacture.
Sales increased to USD12 billion (£8.6bn) in the three months to the end of last month, augmenting from USD6 billion in 2020, when its U.S. industrial unit was closed.
The electric automaker stated that it delivered a record 200,000 cars to customers in the same time.
It stated that public support for greener cars was better than ever.
