Russia wants safety of its citizens in Tunisia to be ensured


(MENAFN)Russia is closely next the latest developments in Tunisia where President Kais Saied released the government, postponed the work of the parliament for 30 days, and introduced the army in the capital Tunis, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

The Kremlin estimates the Political crisis is not going to damage the safety of the Russian citizens in Tunisia, Peskov.

He further declared that "We are following the news that is coming from Tunisia. Of course, we hope that nothing will threaten the stability and security of citizens in this country."

Tunisia witnessed popular demonstrations against the two governments and the opposition in latest weeks caused by a months-long political crisis.
