(MENAFN)Russian deputy foreign minister and deputy head of Hamas political bureau talked about the situation in the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem throughout a telephone conversation on Wednesday.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a report that Mousa Abu Marzook shared with Mikhail Bogdanov his evaluations about the harsh growth in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.
Marzook criticized "the illegal nature of Israeli actions against the Palestinian residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem, as well as the inadmissibility of shelling residential areas in the Gaza Strip.”
He stated that Hamas is prepared to end military action against Israel on a joint basis if the global community will force Israel to stop irritating worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and that the Israeli government would finish brutal unlawful measures against Arab residents, the report revealed.
