Mongolian int’l trade rises 50.6 pct in first 4 months of this year


(MENAFN) On Friday, May. 7 figures issued by the Mongolian Customs General Administration (MCGA) showed that the Mongolian international trade turnover climbed 50.6 percent annually to USD4.4 billion in the January-April period of 2021.

The MCGA noted that the nation recorded a surplus in its international trade balance as exports surpassed imports by about USD535.4 million in the first four month period.

It stated that exports climbed 81.8 percent annually to USD2.4 billion, mostly contributing to the total expansion.

The MCGA said that China is still Mongolia's top export destination during the period, making up for 92.5 percent of Mongolia's overall exports.
