Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index increased 0.54 percent at 1,427.73 points, with a daily trading rate of 19.9 billion Turkish liras (USD2.4 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange volume declined to 8.2900 as (0630GMT), from 8.3060 at the last close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange volume declined to 9.9900 from 10.0280, as one British pound traded for 11.5400 Turkish liras, dropped from 11.5490 at Thursday’s close.
