Jordan- Bulgarian tourist tests positive for COVID in Aqaba


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, May 3 (Petra) -- A Bulgarian tourist tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival at the airport in the city of Aqaba, according to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).
It said that the tourist has already had a negative PCR test before coming to the Kingdom, but she tested positive at the King Hussein International Airport and was quarantined along with her companion following the health procedures.
ASEZA, in cooperation with the competent authorities, has adopted a set of protective measures against COVID-19, it added.
