Morocco delays all trips to India to restrain coronavirus spread


(MENAFN)The Moroccan National Airport Office (ONDA) stated in a report posted on its website, that Morocco on Friday, April 23, delayed all trips to and from India to control the spread of the new coronavirus variants.

Its health ministry stated on Friday, April 23, that the deferral is provisional, and affects also the entry of passengers of India arriving through other countries, ONDA stated.

India saw 332,730 new coronavirus infections and 2,263 fatalities throughout the last 24 hours, both numbers reaching record high.

In the past, Morocco has delayed trips with more than 50 countries, mainly European ones, until May 21.
