Mali, Morocco talk about military collaboration


(MENAFN) A report by an official of the Moroccan Armed Forces (FAR) stated that on Friday, Feb. 26 Mali and Morocco talked about means to encourage military collaboration between the armed forces of both states.

The report further said that Inspector General of FAR Abdelfattah Louarak and Mali's Vice President Assimi Goita talked about the chances of bilateral military collaboration and how to foster and expand its outlooks in several domains.

It noted that Goita, who is on a working visit to Morocco together with a big military commission, will pay a visit to Mohammed V Military Hospital in capital Rabat and the Royal Institute for Higher Military Education in northwestern city of Kenitra.

On Thursday, the vice president had a meeting with Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita on shoring up the political transition in Mali.
