Kuwait radio stations highlight national days, solidarity

KUWAIT, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait Radio Station is marking the national celebrations with special programs emphasizing patriotism and national solidarity.
Saad Al-Fendi, director of the general program, said in a statement on Wednesday that all of the Kuwait radio stations would dedicate most of the broadcasts for the national days.
The special programs will shed light on the national solidarity at hard times, namely during the 1990-1992 blatant Iraqi aggression, with focus on role of the leaders and allies for repelling the aggressors.
They will host diplomats, Kuwaiti students studying abroad, front liners, families of martyrs, academics and athletes. (end)
