Jordan- JMD forecasts moderate weather for two days


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 11 (Petra) -- Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise 6-7 degrees above their annual average, so it will be fair in the Kingdom's most regions, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Similar weather conditions will remain on Tuesday with clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
On Wednesday, mercury levels will continue to rise, exceeding their seasonal average by around 7-8 degrees, with southwesterly brisk winds, blowing dust in the southern and eastern areas of the country, the JMD added.
Toward night, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold and wet air mass, bringing cloudy skies with a chance of scattered showers in many regions, the JMD noted.
Temperatures in Amman for today will reach a high of 20 degrees Celsius, dropping into 7C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a sunny 26C, sliding into 15C during night time.
