KUWAIT, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- The UAE said its daily confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 1,590 to 213,231 on Sunday.
Five fatalities were recorded as the death toll increased to 679, state news agency, WAM, quoted health authorities as saying.
Meanwhile, some 1,609 people were cured from the virus, raising the total recoveries to 189,709. (end)
