(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Nov 22 (KUNA) -- Jordanian King Abdullah on Sunday hailed Saudi efforts to safeguard the global economy amid the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19).
The king made the remark in a phone contact with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, during which both leaders discussed deep-rooted fratneral relations, according to a royal statement.
He thanked King Salman for inviting Jordan to participate as a guest of honour in the G20 Leadersآ' virtual summit in Riyadh, said the statement.
The Jordanian king touted Saudi Arabiaآ's efforts, during its presidency of the G20 this year, to protect the global economy from the impacts of the Covid-19. (end)
