Deputy Minister of Industry: The Saudi Mining Sector Contributes to Achieving Kingdom's 2030 Vision by Attracting Local and International Investments


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, November 8, 2020, SPA -- The Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs, Chairman of the Saudi Geological Survey, Eng. Khalid bin Saleh AlMudaifer, has confirmed that the recently launched general geological survey program is a basic step in developing mining business in the Kingdom and attracting huge local and international investments, as a contribution to achieving the Kingdom's vision 2030.
This came in the virtual seminar titled "The General Geological Survey Laying the Foundations for the New Saudi Mining Sector" organized by the 5@5 program, prepared and broadcast by the "Mines and Money" global media platform specialized in mining affairs and financing its projects, with the participation of a number of representatives of contractors participating in the implementation of this program.
It is noteworthy that the General Geological Survey Program, is one of the largest geological survey programs ever conducted, in such a limited time frame, and about 500 Saudi geologists and scientists will participate in the program to develop and enhance their knowledge and expertise in this field.
